Visit to Strangford College
In January the P7 children visited Strangford College. The day consisted of visiting different classrooms. Mr Kelly, a religious education teacher, talked about Egypt, thank goodness they knew all the answers to the quiz. They practiced their tag rugby techniques in PE, and were put into 2 teams, the ducks and the drakes. Lastly, Miss Hume talked about measurement using the whiteboard and got the children to make Hexaflexagons and then did a science experiment with flour and water, ‘oobleck’, it was really cool. We would like to thank Mrs Foster, principal and Mrs McBride for making us feel really welcome, and especially the canteen staff for feeding us. Yum yum
