Today P5, P6 & P7 visited the Portaferry Library. It's Book Week NI this week and the children were tasked with looking at books and finding lots of information about them. They then had to create story boards with their findings. The four books were Harry Potter and the Philosophers Stone, The Adventures of Captain Underpants, Gangsta Granny and Danny the Champion of the world. Just before we left the library the children listened to 'The Gruffalo', which happens to be Mrs Cassidy's favourite book. We all loved it. Thank you very much.
