A pleasure as usual to have NIFRS come to talk to the children about Fire Safety.
Arc, Fire Bot, Wickman, Steamy & Sizzle, Scratch & Flint and Plan Man were some of the topics that were talked about. Arc represents anything with a plug on it, Firebot represents making sure you have a bedtime routine, Wickman is to remind you about candle safety, Steamy & Sizzle reminds you that hot oil should be watched over and never left unattended, Scratch & Flint reminds us about matches and lighters and Plan Man thinks ahead and remembers if there is a fire to GET OUT, GET THE FIRE & RESUCE SERVICE OUT! AND STAY OUT!
The children had some fantastic questions and hopefully they have learned something new.
Each child received a Fire Safety pack with these cards and so many other cool stuff, please have a look with your child and maybe have some safety fun with them.
